Austin Coleman tied an NAIA record for career kickoff return touchdowns with a 100-yard return, his seventh, as No. 9 Saint Francis defeated No. 5 William Penn 28-19 Saturday at Oskaloosa, Iowa.
Coleman, who also tied a USF record for a return touchdown, had 245 total all-purpose yards for the Cougars (5-2). Coleman's return extended Saint Francis' lead to 21-13 early in the third quarter.
Akeim Kelsaw's 5-yard touchdwon reception in the fourth quarter from quarterback Josh Miller capped the Cougars' scoring.
Miller replaced David Yoder, who completed 11 of 24 passes for 158 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Antoin Campbell rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries as the Cougars had 317 yards of total offense.
Campbell scored on a 1-yard run in the opening quarter and Cameron Smith made it 14-3 with a 64-yard touchdwon grab from Yoder in the second quarter.
Coleman's kickoff return answered a 98-yard kickoff return for a score by William Penn's Ed Cazenave.
