Grains futures mostly rise, livestock prices mixed

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures mostly rose Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery rose 12.25 cents to $8.6850 a bushel; December corn added 15.25 cents to $7.6075 a bushel; December oats slipped 1.75 cent to $3.94 a bushel; while November soybeans jumped 36.25 cents to $15.4550 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle rose 0.45 cent to $1.2805 a pound; November feeder cattle fell 0.15 cent to $1.4912 a pound; while December lean hogs fell 0.32 cent to 78.85 cents a pound.
