The city of Fort Wayne announced Thursday that the lights on the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Bridge on Clinton Street leading into downtown will feature orange, black and white this weekend in recognition of the Fort Wayne Komets.
Today marks the beginning of the 61st season for the Komets in Fort Wayne and their first in the ECHL.
The bridge is covered with 704 light fixtures, most of which are LEDs that can be computer-programmed into 16 million color combinations.
