Pre-game shift: Cousineau, Brittain reassigned to Komets

The Komets are opening tonight with two new names on the roster.

The Komets announced Friday morning that their NHL affiliate, the Anaheim Ducks, have reassigned goaltender Marco Cousineau and forward Josh Brittain to Fort Wayne from Norfolk’s AHL training camp.

The announcement said that Cousineau, 22, was selected by Anaheim in round 3 of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. He’s played with Elmira Syracuse and Allen.
