INDIANAPOLIS – Prosecutors have decided not to file criminal charges against an Indianapolis liquor store clerk who shot and killed a would-be robber.
The Marion County prosecutors office determined that Zach Rogers acted in self-defense Sept. 30 when he shot 47-year-old Donald Crenshaw of Indianapolis at a 21st Amendment Liquor Store on the citys south side.
The shooting occurred during the third day on the job for Rogers, who said it was the first job he was able to find since returning in January from his second tour of duty in Iraq.
