As of 9:44 a.m. Tuesday Interstate 69 was closed at the Interstate 469 south junction (296 mile-marker) for an injury accident, according to a notice issue by the Indiana State Police.
It said a tractor-trailer rig was on its side.
As of 10:45 a.m., the southbound right lane and exit ramp were expected to open soon, the state police said in a second statement.
It said the left (passing) lane “will have an extended closure” as crews off load the trailer and then right the overturned trailer and cab.
