Bridges

Prosecutors filed formal charges Friday against Jason Edward Bridges, accusing him of dealing more than 10 pounds of marijuana.

This week, police announced the arrest of Bridges, 32, of the 13000 block of Lake Everett Drive. He has been charged with felony dealing in marijuana and two counts of felony possession of marijuana, according to court documents.

When officers with the Allen County Sheriff’s Department SWAT Team searched the home, they found 16 marijuana plants drying in a closet, and 231 plants growing in the backyard, according to court documents.

The arrest came after an investigation that began this year by the Allen County Drug Task Force, the Indiana State Police Marijuana Eradication Team and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, according to court documents.

Bridges posted bond after his initial arrest and is not currently in police custody.
