Thunderstorms, heavy rain possible

Northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio might see thunderstorms during the next few days.

The National Weather Service in northern Indiana said Tuesday the region might see isolated thunderstorms later today. Severe weather is not expected, but the weather service said there might be some locally heavy rainfall.

Stormy weather is forecast to return to the region Wednesday afternoon and evening. The weather service said there is a slight risk of severe thunderstorms Wednesday, but they are expected to hit northwest Indiana and miss the northeast corner of the state.
