Police investigating credit union robbery

A Fort Wayne credit union was robbed for the second time in less than six months.

Fort Wayne police released few details about the robbery of Freedom Financial Credit Union, 1802 Inwood Drive, near Coliseum and East State boulevards and Lake Avenue.

Police were called about 9:30 p.m., according to dispatchers.

No other information could be released at 11 p.m. Monday, according to Officer Chris Felton, police spokesman.

A credit union employee was beaten in April during an attempted robbery.
