Ohio man kills ex-girlfriend, daughter then self

CLEVELAND (AP) — Police in Cleveland say a man fatally shot his ex-girlfriend and 6-year-old daughter before turning the gun on himself.

It happened late Monday on the city's northeast side. A police commander said a 24-year-old man, 22-year-old woman and 6-year-old girl were found dead outside the home. The man and woman were the parents of the child.

Police say the man took them outside at gunpoint before the shootings. Media reports said three other people were at the house at the time, but nobody else was hurt.

Police haven't released their names. They also don't yet know a motive.
