From a report received Tuesday morning:
Warsaw Police have arrested an Atwood woman accused of dealing in a controlled substance at a Warsaw park.
On Monday, August 6, 2012, Warsaw Police obtained an arrest warrant for Jody Lea Guiff O'Brien, 44 year old, after undercover officers purchased Morphine pills from Ms. O'Brien at Central Park in Warsaw.
Warsaw Police located Ms. O'Brien at 418 S. High Street in Atwood and took her into custody, without incident.
Ms. O'Brien was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on a $50,000 surety bond for dealing in a schedule I, II, or III controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a public park, a class A felony.
Warsaw Police wish to make its parks a safe and enjoyable environment for families and will continue to combat criminal activity in Warsaw City Parks.
