Bowling Green scored five runs in the first inning on the way to a 7-4 victory against the TinCaps in front of 5,322 fans Monday at Parkview Field.

Fort Wayne had a season-high six errors in the loss.

Drew Vettleson hit a two-run home run in the first inning for the Hot Rods.

Travis Whitmore had three singles and scored twice for the TinCaps.
