SBA disaster loans available in LaGrange, Steuben counties

Federal economic injury disaster loans are available in LaGrange and Steuben counties as a result of the drought, the Small Business Administration said today.

Loans in those counties, as well as in Elkhart and St. Joseph counties, are possible because the counties border counties in Michigan considered primary disaster areas, the SBA said in a statement.

As a result, small businesses, agricultural cooperatives, small businesses engaged in aquaculture and most private nonprofit organizations are eligible to apply for loans of up to $2 million, the statement said.
