TinCaps complete sweep of Great Lakes

Yeison Asencio had three hits, including a three-run triple, as Fort Wayne beat Great Lakes 6-1 in front of 7,687 fans Monday at Parkview Field.

Asencio followed up a 5 for 5 performance on Sunday with a 3 for 4 game on Monday.

Kyle Gaedele went 2 for 3 with two RBI the same day he was named the Midwest League Player of the Week.

Fort Wayne earned its first three-game series sweep at Parkview Field since April 7-9, 2011, against South Bend.

The TinCaps (22-14, 53-53) are at .500 overall for the first time since they were 1-1.
