Task force nabs 3 on drug charges

The Kosciusko County Drug Task Force arrested two men and a woman on drug charges Wednesday.

After previously buying prescription medication at an undisclosed location in Warsaw while undercover, the task force raided the Westhaven Mobile Home Park. Amanda Jo Fountain, 24, of Warsaw, was preliminarily charged with a felony count of dealing a controlled substance. She was being held in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Jordan Lee Woodcox, 21, of Jasper, was arrested on preliminary counts of possession of precursors after it was determined he had helped in the making of methamphetamine lab, police said.

Woodcox was booked into Kosciusko County Jail and being held in lieu of $2,000 bail.

The task force also arrested Samuel Effrien Alvarez, 33, of Warsaw, on a probation violation stemming from a previous cocaine arrest.

Alvarez is accused of selling cocaine to undercover detectives at least twice and was being held in lieu of $25,000 bail.

The task force consists of officers from the Syracuse police and Kosciusko County sheriff's departments.
