Grains futures, livestock prices rise

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures traded rose Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery rose 18.25 cents to $9.0325 a bushel; December corn rose 13 cents to $7.8425 a bushel; December oats rose 3.25 cents to $3.8350 a bushel; while November soybeans jumped 29.50 cents to $16.20 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle rose 2.60 cents to $1.1807 a pound; August feeder cattle rose 3 cents to $1.3720 a pound; while August lean hogs rose 2.67 cents to 92.62 cents a pound.
