9 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Art exhibition; University of Saint Francis School of Creative Arts, Rolland Art Center, 2701 Spring St. 35th annual Ventures in Creativity Art Exhibition by the Fort Wayne Artists Guild; free.

9:30 a.m. – Behind the Screen. A one-day exploration at the Embassy Theatre lets kids see how the Grande Page organ makes a silent movie come alive, along with other activities. (admission $5); Embassy Theatre, 125 W. Jefferson Blvd.

9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tour the Parks. Visit five area parks with a focus on 10 statues and the wishing well in Fort Wayne's newest legacy park. ($2 admission); Community Center, 233 W. Main Street.

10 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Family Fun Day at Botanical Conservatory. Crafts, balloon artists, games, giant slide, moon walk, paddle boats and more. ($5 adults, $3 children, free for kids 2 years and younger) Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory, 1100 S. Calhoun St.

10 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Three Rivers T.R.A.I.N. Display. Special model railroad exhibit featuring an HO scale and fully operational freight yard; Regular museum admission applies ($5 adults, $3 students and seniors, and members or kids 5 and under free); History Center, 322 E. Berry St.

10 a.m. to 6 p.m. – DeBrand Chocolate Tours. Behind-the-scenes tour through DeBrand's chocolate-making kitchens; $5 per person with $5 rebate on $10 purchase after the tour; DeBrand Headquarters, 10105 Auburn Park Drive

11 a.m. to 11 p.m. – Junk Food Alley. Food vendors offering traditional festival favorites, including elephant ears, slow-cooked barbecue and fried cheese, and new festival dishes, including German chocolate funnel cake; Prices vary, but many vendors offer $2 special samples today only; near Headwaters Park.

11 a.m. to 11 p.m. – Downtown Midway. Carnival featuring amusement rides, free displays, free hot-air balloon rides and fee-based attractions such as helicopter rides, laser tag, old-time photos, caricatures and face painting; Individual tickets or all-day wristbands can be bought for amusement rides; Headwaters Park East and West, 333 S. Clinton St.

11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. – Brown Bag Tunes @ Noon. Free mid-day musical performance by Fatima Washington, sponsored by NPR. Headwaters Park East, Vera Bradley Festival Plaza.

Noon to 5 p.m. – Art and music: "The Voice in the Forest," an installation by painter/composer Michael Rhoades; free. Lotus Gallery, 1302 Lafayette St., Suite 205.

6 p.m. – Brother. One of the most vocally versatile and talented bands in the region performs with opening band, Phil's Family Lizard. ($2, children free with adult) Headwaters Park East, Vera Bradley Plaza.

6 p.m. – Luscious Legs contest. $1 votes can be cast for you favorite "Mystery" Celebrity legs, with all proceeds going to benefit Mad Anthony's Children Hope House. ($2 admission) Headwaters Park East, Vera Bradley Plaza.

7 p.m. to 9 p.m. – Dog Show. Members of the Northeastern Indiana kennel Club will demonstrate grooming, answer questions about their breeds and present them in a show-like atmosphere. Free; Freimann Square, Clinton at Main Street.
