Sheen gives USO $1 million

Charlie Sheen’s anger issues will soon be helping soldiers.

The actor announced Monday that he’ll donate at least $1 million to the USO in what is among the largest single donations ever given to the troop morale-boosting organization.

Sheen says he’ll donate 1 percent of profits from his new FX show “Anger Management” to the group. He’ll give a minimum of $1 million with no cap on the final amount.

Sheen’s donation will be used to build an entertainment facility for injured troops in Bethesda, Md.

Q to return

Good news for gadget-loving James Bond fans – Q is back.

Producers have confirmed that the MI6 quartermaster and expert in high-tech trickery will return in this fall’s Bond film, “Skyfall.”

EON productions said Thursday that British actor Ben Whishaw will play the role made famous by the late Desmond Llewellyn, who played Q in 17 Bond films between 1963 and 1999.

Comedian John Cleese later played the character in two films during Pierce Brosnan’s stint as 007, but Q was absent from Daniel Craig’s first two Bond adventures.

Babies arrive

Kelsey Grammer and his wife, Kayte, have a little Faith after the birth of a healthy baby girl early Friday.

The Grammers say they are thrilled at the arrival of their first child together, Faith Evangeline Elisa Grammer.

In a statement, the couple announced that although they had been expecting twins, Kayte Grammer suffered a miscarriage several months ago.

•It’s a girl for Uma Thurman and her financier boyfriend.

Thurman’s representative confirmed on Monday that the actress gave birth. She did not release details, including the baby’s name.
