The body of Thomas Haskins was a day away from being cremated – and his closest kin didn’t even know he was dead.A man with a gun robbed a convenience store Tuesday and got away with an undisclosed amount of money, according to a Fort Wayne police report.
About 2:20 a.m., the man entered the Stop N Go at 4233 N. Clinton St. He went behind the counter, crouched down and ordered the clerk to hand over cash, the report stated. The robber left the store with the money and ran south, the report stated.
He was wearing black pants, a black hooded sweatshirt and some sort of red mask. He was black and had a medium build, according to the report.
