A Hicksville, Ohio, man was injured Thursday when his truck drove off Indiana 8 in DeKalb County, struck a tree and overturned, the county sheriff's department said.A Warsaw man was killed Thursday night west of Warsaw after his car struck a utility pole.
The Kosciusko County fatal accident investigation team reported that a 1996 Ford Contour lost control on County Road 350 West just north of County Road 200 North shortly before 9:15 p.m.
Shaun C. Owens, 32, died at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation. The preliminary investigation indicates that Owens overcorrected after going over a small hill.
The investigators were assisted at the scene by the Warsaw police and fire departments, Multi-Township EMS, Indiana State Police, the Kosciusko County coroner and the sheriff’s department.
