Notre Dame's football rivalry with Michigan will take a two-year break in the 2018 and 2019 seasons, Michigan announced on its athletic website Wednesday.
The website said Notre Dame and Michigan plan to resume the rivalry after the two-year break.
Michigan released information on its non-conference schedule for the 2014-16 seasons, when it will play Notre Dame three times.
The Irish play host to the Wolverines on Sept. 6, 2014, travel to Michigan on Sept. 12, 2015, and play the Wolverines at home Sept. 10, 2016.
