Terre Haute selected to host girls basketball state finals

The girls basketball state finals are returning to Terre Haute.

Sources said the IHSAA has awarded the 2013 state games to Indiana State in Terre Haute, the 2012 locale as well.

Memorial Coliseum and Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis also submitted bids.

Fort Wayne played host to the state finals in 2010 and 2011.
