Editor's Note: I hope Laura won't mind me telling you that this was one of those days when she had to run, willy-nilly, from one assignment to the next. It's easy to burn out a little on busy days like that, but I know I can count on Laura to always add a little extra to her photos.

This is no exception. She didn't have a lot of time for this event, but she chose a striking angle and waited for a nice moment.

The low light level in the large room wasn't helping her out, either, but she handled that very well, too.

Incidentally, we try to be careful to include "training", "mock" or "class" in every headline, reference, and cutline of anything that could look like real violence, or a crime scene. We don't want to scare people for no reason.
