Not sure what this means

I'm not entirely sure what this means, but Quad City owner Chris Lencheski told The Quad City Times that one of the available options for his team was out.

I'm guessing that means the Central Hockey League has been eliminated as an option if the IHL folds, but I'm awaiting some return phone calls on this topic.

Speaking of the CHL, word is there is upcoming strife between that league and the players' association. Even though the CHL's salary cap is the smallest of the IHL-ECHL-CHL group, I've heard the owners want to reduce salaries even more.

That, of course, would mean less talent. Which, of course, would mean the product would be even less appealing to Fort Wayne's fans.

  • I will do my best to bring back the radio button next week, when I figure out how to get it working correctly on our new site, but if you want to hear this week's edition of "We've got Game," co-hosted by myself and Ben Smith: Click here. This was a fun show.
